Bed & Breakfast Clanis may be easily reached by car travelling from Milan on the A1 Highway by exiting at the Bettolle-Valdichiana toll-booth and travelling then on the Siena-Perugia speedway (exit Pietraia; once exited the speedway you will find yourself in a different and charming world. Those travelling on the A1 from Rome may exit at the Chiusi-Chianciano toll-booth, follow signs for Castiglion del Lago and then get on the Siena-Perugia speedway that they will need to leave at the Pietraia exit.

In both cases at the Pietraia exit follow signs for Ferretto and take a right past the only bus stop you will run across onto a dirt track (the B&B is about 100 yards down the street on the left-hand side).

The B&B may also be easily reached on the train. The international railway runs through Rome and Florence and you may get off at the Terontola-Cortona station. Convenient bus connections are also available from Arezzo and Perugia. The nearest international airports are located in Florence (60 miles) and Rome-Fiumicino (80 miles).
